Installed in Alexandria
Two local Integrity installation projects, with equipment and work scope documented for homeowners comparing HVAC contractors.
Kingstowne · Alexandria, Virginia
Integrity installed a Trane 17-SEER dual-fuel heating and cooling system for a Kingstowne home. Dual-fuel equipment combines heat-pump operation with furnace heat, providing two methods of heating as conditions change. A system replacement like this requires coordinated indoor and outdoor equipment, airflow considerations, and properly matched controls.
Old Town · Alexandria, Virginia
For an Old Town sunroom without a connection to the home’s central ductwork, Integrity installed a Mitsubishi ductless system. The project included a 9,000-BTU wall-mounted indoor unit, a 1.5-ton outdoor unit, protected refrigerant lines, electrical connections, startup testing and commissioning. Ductless equipment offers heating and cooling without extending a central duct system into the room.
Project visuals are digitally reconstructed from Integrity job-site photographs and video, not unaltered documentary photographs.

Tell us what is happening and where the property is located. We'll explain the appropriate visit, any charges and the next step before work begins.
Select what you need to see exactly what's included, whether a fee applies and how to schedule.
Repair or troubleshooting
A technician evaluates the reported problem, explains findings and recommended work, and obtains approval before any repair. The diagnostic charge is disclosed before testing begins.
Comfort Plans: Eligible Platinum members have the diagnostic fee waived; Gold members receive a discount; Silver members pay the standard fee unless an offer applies. Qualifying repair credits are explained when applicable.
HVAC replacement consultation
We review existing equipment, installation requirements, visible ductwork and access, then discuss suitable options and provide a written quote with equipment, scope, price and warranty.
The quote includes its expiration date. If the visit requires additional fault-finding or diagnostic testing, the applicable charge is explained and approved before testing.
Already received another quote?
Bring another contractor's written estimate. We'll review it during a free on-site visit and discuss the recommendation, proposed equipment and installation scope.
A second opinion is not a free troubleshooting appointment. If added diagnostics are needed, we'll explain the charge and ask for approval first.
Urgent no-heat and no-cooling requests are prioritized based on severity and technician availability; same-day or after-hours service is not guaranteed. Suspect gas, fire or carbon monoxide? Leave the area and call 911 first.
Alexandria homeowner's contractor guide
A trustworthy HVAC quote should explain what is being proposed, why it fits your home, and how the work will be checked. Ask these six questions of any Alexandria-area contractor before approving a proposal. Homes in Old Town, Beauregard and nearby Fairfax County can require different access, airflow and permitting considerations. Each answer should be backed by specifics you can review.
“What is your Virginia contractor license number and HVAC specialty?”
Ask to see: The legal business name, current status and authorized specialty in the Virginia DPOR lookup ↗. See Integrity’s two published credential numbers ↓.
Watch for: An individual Master HVAC credential presented as the company's contractor license. They are different records.
“Which findings support repair or replacement, and what alternatives were considered?”
Ask to see: The diagnosis if fault-testing was performed, condition and warranty considerations, and the estimated cost of a practical repair.
Watch for: Replacement recommended solely because of age or a single rule of thumb. Compare the repair math.
“How do you know this system is right for my rooms, ductwork and heating/cooling load?”
Ask to see: The sizing basis, applicable load evaluation (Manual J), equipment selection (Manual S), and a duct/airflow assessment where relevant.
Watch for: “We're using the same tonnage” without checking whether the existing setup performed well.
“Which materials, site modifications, permits and warranties are included in this price?”
Ask to see: Equipment identifiers, removal, electrical and refrigerant-line work as applicable, condensate handling, exclusions, price and quote expiration.
Watch for: A one-line total with no description of labor, installation scope or potential added charges.
“Does this job need a permit or inspection, and who is responsible for it?”
Ask to see: The permitting plan for the actual property address. Alexandria City ↗ and Fairfax County ↗ have different offices.
Watch for: Assuming an “Alexandria” mailing address automatically means City of Alexandria permitting.
“How will you check the system works correctly before the job is closed?”
Ask to see: Appropriate startup checks, airflow and temperature performance, refrigerant/electrical checks where applicable, safety controls and closeout paperwork.
Watch for: “It turned on” offered as the only completion test. Specific checks depend on the equipment and work performed. See our Alexandria-area project summaries ↓
This is a homeowner's bid-comparison guide, not an inspection or regulatory standard. Not every item applies to a simple repair. For new system work, ask the contractor which design documents, permits and tests are appropriate for the actual scope.
These questions can change the real installation scope.
Ask about tight equipment access, condensate routing and any constraints on outdoor-unit placement. Old Town HVAC services →
Ask how the proposal addresses uneven temperatures, return-air pathways and existing duct capacity. Kingstowne HVAC services →
Ask whether association approvals, common-area rules or equipment-placement restrictions may apply.
Integrity offers a free on-site second opinion on a written estimate. Additional troubleshooting, if needed, is separately explained and approved before chargeable testing.

I had a great experience which went above my expectations, the quality of work that was done installing my HVAC and A/C was better than I expected. Cristian and Mauricio were my technicians and they were able to finish the job smoothly and leave me happy with my new equipment. Roberto and Isac provided me the best quote around my area, they are very professional explaining all the work being done, they also went above and beyond to make sure I chose them for the job.Posted on Google![]()

They came diagnosed it and figured out the best path forward for me and got the job done very promptly. I appreciate their service and customer service.Posted on Google![]()

Isaac and his partner were awesome. They came on time. Were polite and courteous. Explained each step.they were taking to.fix the problem. They explained with integrity. They were my second opinion to a large reputable company who said that they couldn't fix my AC and immediately wanted to sell me a whole HVAC system. No sales job with Isaac. Just suggestions without any nudging. Integrity Duct and HVAC Services is my go to company. I tried the other company because Integrity was booked and was hot. In the end, we decided to deal with the heat the old fashioned way, fans, until Integrity came. They were worth the wait.Posted on Google![]()

Excellent experience with Integrity and Isaac. We hired them to replace complete HVAC systems at two properties in Alexandria, and overall I was very pleased with the experience. Isaac was responsive, reliable, knowledgeable, and easy to communicate with. Their pricing was extremely competitive, particularly compared with several larger HVAC companies whose automated pricing systems produced quotes that were thousands of dollars higher for comparable work. It was also a pleasure to work with a local company and someone who lives and works in the Alexandria area rather than one of the larger companies. Communication was particularly good. Isaac coordinated directly with the tenants for scheduling and access, kept me informed throughout the process, and promptly provided the proposals, insurance, licensing, permit, and equipment information I needed to complete the condo association architectural applications. We did have a misunderstanding regarding pricing during the process, but I appreciated how Isaac handled it. He called me directly, discussed the issue, and we were able to reach a fair resolution quickly. How a company responds when there is an issue says a lot, and he handled it professionally. Both installations were completed as scheduled and the systems are working well. Isaac also followed through with the permits and warranty registrations. Overall, Integrity provided excellent value, quality workmanship, reliable service, strong communication, and great follow-through. After using them for two complete HVAC replacements, I would definitely work with Isaac and Integrity again and recommend them to others.Posted on Google![]()

Integrity Duct & HVAC Services did an amazing job AGAIN! I used them several years ago to replace my furnace and decided to try them again to replace my A/C condenser. The team was timely, professional and detail-oriented. Upon completion they walked me through the entire job, detailing what the replaced, how it works and functions. I will continue to recommend and use Integrity in the future.
